Here at Light of the World, we're committed to spreading the life changing message of God’s love and grace to the Sarasota community and beyond. The evangelism ministry connects with others by loving them, listening to them and responding to their needs the same way our Savior did while on earth.

We understand that evangelism as a way of life and we strive to reach our community through marketplace evangelism, servant evangelism and friendship evangelism.

It is a privilege to help fulfill the great commission to which every believer is called. With you, your resources, your time and your passion for the lost, these programs can flourish while impacting our community with God’s love.

Adopt-a-Block

We show we care by enhancing the quality of family life and educating the community on parenting skills, budgeting, and family related matters.

Monthly Visitation

Every month our team spends about 2 hours visiting and ministering to those within our community.

Family Time

Every 3rd Saturday we gather in a neighborhood park for a time of fun, fellowship, food and sharing the Gospel.

Christmas Giveaway

For the Christmas holiday each year we provide toys, gift cards, clothing, entertainment, food, and prayer to the community.
