Our Purpose
The Security Team ensures the safety of the congregation during church services and church events. Each member of the Security Team shall reflect a smile and extend a friendly hand to those who are on church property without intimidation.
Ministry Expectations
Security Team members are required to go through a 68-hour training course given by Derek Jones Security Academy. (Current certified law enforcement personnel are exempt.) Ongoing training is required every other month. All team members are asked to make a one-year commitment. Volunteers are also expected to work one Sunday a month, one weekday a month, and to be available for special events as needed.
